December update

As 2015 draws to a close, we thought you may be interested to know that your donations have helped SNDogs rescue 79 dogs and rehome 63 – and we currently have a number of dogs on reservation and home trial. Thank you to everyone who has donated to SNDogs during 2015.

The winter months are fairly quiet on the fundraising front – so at this time of year it is really important that donations of food, beds, toys and treats still come into us. The dogs in foster homes really enjoy having a toy and Christmas meal on the big day!

Donations of food, toys, etc. can be left at several drop-off points in Swindon. Click here to find out more.

The Fundraising Team may be quieter during the winter months, but the same can’t be said for the foster families and dog walking team who help out all through the Festive period. The SNDogs volunteers are always on call in case a dog needs a rescue space, for example if a stray dog needs looking after until its owner can be found, or an owner unexpectedly has to give their dog up due to hospitalisation. And of course, dogs continue to be adopted whatever time of the year it is!

Our final dog walk of the year is this Saturday (December 12th) at Coate Water. Everyone is welcome, whether you have your own dogs or not. Meet us at the cafe at 10.30 to take part in the walk. You will be able to meet many of the dogs that are currently looking for homes.

Finally, from all at SNDogs we wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and look forward to keeping you all up to date with our news and events in 2016.
