Occasionally a dog will come in to our care that requires urgent (often expensive) medical treatment. When this happens, we sometimes run a campaign to raise additional funds to cover the vets bills.
The hardest part about a campaign is getting enough exposure to the cause to encourage donations. We will post the link to the campaign on our Facebook pages. If you see a post of this type, we would really appreciate it if you could share it on your own Facebook profile, as well as other social media websites such as Twitter or Instagram.
This helps to raise awareness as more people will see the campaign, which in turn leads to more donations.
Our current campaign: £500 for Kerry’s emergency vet treatment
Kerry was taken to vets by her owner, but they could not give her the care she needed.
The vet realised she was trying to give birth and the puppies were too big to pass and already dead inside her. SNDogs agreed to take her into our care and pay for the operation as her uterus was being torn open by the puppies, they were huge!!!
The damage was close to the bladder and for a few days she was incontinent and had puss coming out of her.
She is now a happy very little girl, good with other dogs, cats and older children and in the foster care with SNDogs.
This girl is so tiny that her jumper is half a welly sock!
Please help us to raise £500 to cover the cost of Kerry’s emergency treatment.
