Occasionally a dog will come in to our care that requires urgent (often expensive) medical treatment. When this happens, we sometimes run a campaign to raise additional funds to cover the vets bills.
The hardest part about a campaign is getting enough exposure to the cause to encourage donations. We will post the link to the campaign on our Facebook pages. If you see a post of this type, we would really appreciate it if you could share it on your own Facebook profile, as well as other social media websites such as Twitter or Instagram.
This helps to raise awareness as more people will see the campaign, which in turn leads to more donations.
Our current campaign: £1,000 for Alan’s eye treatment
Please help us to help Alan! We rescued Alan from death row about 2 years ago, he came to us skinny and in poor condition. We got him a good condition and rehomed him but sadly he had to come back to us due to no fault of his own.
When he came back to us, we noticed a small white line in his eye and some inflammation. He has had to see a specialist and had a biopsy and will need further treatment before we can consider rehoming him.
He is such a ladies man and really deserves to live his life without any discomfort in his eye. Please share and donate, every little helps!
