Could YOU be our new Trustee?

SNDogs stands for “Saving Needy Dogs” and that pretty much sums up what we do!

We are a registered charity based in Swindon and we care for and find loving homes for dogs in need. We don’t use cages or kennels; all of our dogs stay with foster carers in their homes and become a temporary but much loved member of the family until they are adopted.

A rewarding voluntary position has now arisen for new Trustees who share our values to join our existing Trustees. You will help ensure we act in the best interests of our dogs and within statutory and charity regulations and guidelines.

We are particularly interested in Trustees with the following skills:

  • Legal experience
  • Animal lover, with a particular interest in dogs, and have a passion for their welfare.

Desired qualities:

  • An understanding of the role of a Trustee (Training will be given)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Enthusiasm
  • Commitment

Trustees are expected to commit to attend quarterly Trustees meetings within the Swindon area.
