Agi is a sweet little West Highland Terrier, she is 12 yrs old and has come to us due to a change in circumstances.

She is a very content little girl with no skin issues.

She is good with other dogs, cats rabbits and children.

She did have trouble eating, but a trip to Vets Klinic changed that. A good cleaning of her teeth and removal of 5 teeth made life better for her and she is eating soft foods.

Agi has cataracts starting so has a little difficulty seeing which makes her nervous that her Foster dog friends are trying to eat her food, so it’s best for her to be fed in a quiet place on her own.

She would prefer the company of an older male dog because she is the boss and likes to put the girls in their place.

We feel her cataracts cause her to be a little nervous about being picked up, but she’s fine once in your arms.

Agi walks very well on the lead and asks to be let out when she needs to. She is also crate trained and doesn’t mind being on her own for a couple of hours.

She is still a lively girl and does play with her treats by tossing them about.

And when you’re ready for a nice cuddle Agi is right there ready to snuggle up.

Agi finds herself in the plight of many older dogs; needing a home in her twilight years. She has so much life and love left to give and she’d be perfect for an older adult in need of companionship and love. Are you or someone you know the person Agi is looking for?

This dog has been reserved, which means that they will be meeting people so that a trial can take place. You can still apply for adoption, however please note that if the trial period is successful then Agi will no longer be available to be rehomed.

If you have already been homechecked you may not need to fill out a new application, just email and let us know. Homes already checked will get priority.

Adoption fee is £200 per dog unless otherwise agreed. This is payable at the time you take a dog on a two-week trial.
