Can live with dog-savvy cats? No

Ernie is an older male who has spent many years in a pound in Spain.

He loves when he can go into the yard and play with the puppies.

He will be joining us very soon.

He’s so loveable, he loves to be around people and at the moment he’s so lazy because of the heat.

He’s very chilled but can be quite naughty and he does love his food.

You have to put him in another room whenever you’re preparing any food.

Unfortunately he’s got weak back legs so we haven’t been able to take him on any walks yet. But hopefully his legs will grow back in strength.

It’s thought the weakness was caused by spending a long time confined in a pound.

Despite not seeing him interact with other dogs, we are confident that Ernie will behave well with others.

Despite him being a big dog, and looking like a wolf, he hasn’t shown any aggression at all.

He must be about six years old and he’s such a sweetheart.

He would be better off with a family who are at home often due to his love of being with people and interacting with them.

If you have already been homechecked you may not need to fill out a new application, just email and let us know. Homes already checked will get priority.

Adoption fee is £250 per dog unless otherwise agreed. This is payable at the time you take a dog on a two-week trial.
