Marshall

Marshall

Breed: Mixed breed

Gender: Male

Can live with dogs? Yes

Marshall is a sweet cute boy. He loves attention. When your preparing his food or getting the treats ready he will put his two front feet up begging.

When out walking he wants to run, he’s full of beans: he’s got so much energy and he will love long walks.

Because of his coat he will need grooming daily.

If there’s another dog, they would need to be fed at a distance as there is slight food aggression. We’ve been trying to work on that and every few days gradually moving the food dishes closer to get them used to be fed together but have never left them alone while feeding.

Also don’t leave any food unattended like a plate on a table or anything, as if you forget as soon as your back is turned he will jump up and tidy up after you and clean your plate for you.

He doesn’t seem keen to use a proper dogs bed to sleep on but we’ve got a old duvet he is happy on. He has twice got one one of our dog’s bed, so in time he might choose to sleep in a dog bed.

He will be ok with other dogs. It took him a couple weeks to settle but he did trace for few days before he came to me.

He acts like a puppy; he’s got so much energy and so much love to give.

He loves his food. He’s a fast eater so we have brought a slow feeder bowl to help to slow his eating down.

We currently feed him twice a day. He’s on raw food.

Marshall is fully vaccinated/ warmed / flead.

Adoption fees & homecheck information

Re-homing is subject to a successful home check and adoption fee.

When completing your adoption application, you are required to pay a non-refundable admin fee of £11.

After receiving your application, we will contact you to arrange your homecheck.

If you have already been homechecked within the last 12 months, you do not need to fill out a new application – just email SNDrescue@gmail.com and let us know. Homes already checked will get priority.

If your homecheck was over 12 months ago then you will need to apply for a new one by completing the adoption form and paying the £11 admin fee for processing your updated homecheck.

When taking a dog on trial, adopters must pay the adoption fee. This is £300 for adult dogs and £400 for puppies. There are times when the fee will be altered.

If a dog goes on trial and is returned, the people returning the dog need to email SNDogs with bank info to claim back the adoption fee.

This will be refunded (minus a non-refundable £50 which you will have been informed of and agreed to before taking the dog on trial) as long as the dog is returned in the same condition as you received them, with no injuries, signs of neglect or abuse.

Please ensure that the full donation amount is available prior to having your home check, as this avoids disappointment all round.
