NOLA is a female, Crossbreed, 4yr. Old, medium size.

She is an incredibly loving rescue dog who is desperate to be loved and to bestow her love upon others.

She loves to go on walks and is good on a harness and lead. Nola has met a 3 year old child and let him kiss her although she was a little nervous. She did not know what to make of his baby brother! We would therefore recommend children over the age of 8 or better still, just visiting grandchildren.

When playing with adults, Nola likes to put your hand in her mouth but is very gentle and has no intention of biting.

This dear young lady could be an only dog if she had regular play dates with others but does love to play with dogs so would prefer to have a canine companion. She does play pretty rough though but it’s harmless play!

Nola likes to sleep in a cool place, on a wood floor or even near a door. She is a great guard dog.

Collecting and moving shoes and items of clothing (scarves and anything left around) is one of her pastimes but she never chews or damages them.

She has a low moulting coat which will require maintenance but she is surprisingly good at being groomed. The vet was super impressed with her behaviour.

As Nola is so sociable, an active retired couple would be an ideal match for her.

She would not do well being left alone while people are at work and just popping home to let her out.

Nola requires a secure garden with fences a minimum of 5ft high.

She loves smelling peemails left for her by other dogs when out walking but still hasn’t quite mastered house training. This could well be due to the fact that one of her foster brothers is elderly and thinks it’s okay to toilet in the house if he can’t be bothered to go to the door. No doubt she would master the art quickly if OAP’s were not about!

Food is of great interest to Nola and she dances around on her bag legs when food is being prepared! She has learned to sit before the food is given to her.

A raw diet is currently being enjoyed.

Nola currently weighs around 15kg but is slowly putting on a little more weight. We think her ideal weight would lie between 16-18kg.

This adorable brown eyed girl really is a delight to have around.

She was saved from previous owner who for whatever reason wanted to set her on fire. Nola has come from Romania.

This dog has been reserved, which means that they will be meeting people so that a trial can take place. You can still apply for adoption, however please note that if the trial period is successful then Nola will no longer be available to be rehomed.

If you have already been homechecked you may not need to fill out a new application, just email and let us know. Homes already checked will get priority.

Adoption fee is £250 per dog unless otherwise agreed. This is payable at the time you take a dog on a two-week trial.
