Spike is a 14 year old Jack Russell terrier.

He is mostly good with other dogs but maybe better living as an only dog.

Good with cats and older children.

Please don’t be put off by Spike’s age – you only need to meet him for 1 minute to realise he still looks and acts like a much younger dog.

He might be going a little deaf but we think he can still hear the loud noises but this doesn’t stop him showing lots of affection towards people.

He loves a good cuddle but he also loves his walks and walks well on the lead.

He likes to scent his spot a lot so needs reinforcing where the garden is, but where food is involved he will learn.

If you have already been homechecked you may not need to fill out a new application, just email SNDrescue@gmail.com and let us know. Homes already checked will get priority.

Adoption fee is £200 per dog unless otherwise agreed. This is payable at the time you take a dog on a two-week trial.
